Active 20-30 Foundation 2014 Grant ProgramThe Active 20-30 Foundation is seeking applications for charitable grants for our 2013 fiscal year. The Foundation will fund requests of approximately $7,000 in total. Each club may submit one grant request per fiscal year. This request may be for a charitable project that (1) the club itself puts on or (2) may be written on behalf of local children’s nonprofit that the club partners with for a charitable project. Application GuidelinesEach club may submit only one application each fiscal year. The grant may be awarded to a 501(c)(4) or 501(c)(3) entity. The club may either request the grant for itself or as the sponsor for a children’s nonprofit that they will partner with for a benevolent project. The club must be a club in good standing with Active 20-30 US & Canada. Previous grant recipients may be deemed ineligible to receive grant funding if they failed to meet the project or reporting requirements of their grant. The online application and all supporting documents must be submitted by midnight PST Monday, May 26th, 2014. Grant awardees will be announced at the 2014 National Convention’s Gala Dinner held in Palm Springs, California. The grant funds must be used by the end of 2014. A follow up report must be submitted to the Foundation Board via the National Office no later than midnight PST January 31st, 2015. In the event the grant is not spent by the end of 2014, the grant funds should be remitted back to the Foundation. Failure to submit a final report may result in repayment of grant funds and disqualification from future eligibility. |
