Sacramento wins the Pool Party Competition for the most number of registrations during the month of May, earning their entire club free admission to the Friday Pool Party at National Convention. It was a close competition, and had to go to the tie-breaker condition (the club farthest from Hotel Valley Ho). Thank you to everyone for taking part. Please encourage your fellow club members to sign up for National Convention if they haven't already done so! Rules & Conditions 1. this competition is open to all Active 20-30 clubs except National Convention 2006 hosts Scottsdale #547 and Valley of the Sun #1028. 2. any Pool Party monies paid by the winning club's members (as part of their individual registrations) will be refunded to the winning club in ONE SINGLE CHECK. it is the responsibility of the winning club to refund these monies to the appropriate members, and the National Convention Board will not be responsible for monies that are not refunded accordingly. 3. the winners of this competition will be announced on Thursday, June 1st 2006 and posted on this website. 4. in the event of a tie for any "winning position", rank will first be determined by the total number of registrations, and secondly by the greater "traveling distance" (the straight-line distance from the club's mailing address to the address of Hotel Valley Ho, as obtained from the Zipdy distance calculator). 5. all enquiries, comments and concerns should be directed to Barbara Garganta of the National Convention Board.
