Redwood Empire wins the Cabana Competition for the most number of registrations from February 1st through March 19th, earning them the free daytime (10am-5pm) use of their own Pool Side Cabana on the Friday and Saturday of National Convention. The five runner-up clubs were each given the opportunity to rent a Pool Side Cabana for $150 for the two days. Rules & Conditions 1. this competition is open to all Active 20-30 clubs except National Convention 2006 hosts Scottsdale #547 and Valley of the Sun #1028. 2. the Pool Side Cabanas will only be available for daytime use from 10am-5pm on Friday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th and cannot be used for overnight accommodation. 3. the winners of this competition will be announced on Monday, March 20th 2006 and posted on this website. 4. in the event of a tie for any "winning position", rank will first be determined by the total number of registrations, and secondly by the greater "traveling distance" (the straight-line distance from the club's mailing address to the address of Hotel Valley Ho, as obtained from the Zipdy distance calculator). 5. all enquiries, comments and concerns should be directed to Barbara Garganta of the National Convention Board.
